In need of a hug
Neither Zoom, Facetime, Skype, nor any other social networking tool can ever replace flesh-and-blood encounters. We were told repeatedly that people missed hugging others and dreamed of the day they could hold children and grandchildren in their arms; embrace their friends and once again start visiting people.
Liliane Lessard, Gilles Lavoie, Lise Goad and Hercule Boulanger tell us how much they missed the physical contacts with family and friends that were denied them because of health restrictions. By collecting family photos, Michèle Laverdure was able to preserve memories of this unique period.
The dream of everyone in lockdown!
